_Brian, spectacular, amazing, SO tasty, delicious,
fantastic... just a few of the adjectives we heard over and over about the
food. And we believed them because that is how we felt as well! We also had
several unsolicited comments about how good the wait staff was --along the lines
of "professional yet mellow" , again, exactly what we thought! The meat was
perfect and grilling it added so much. The polenta, slaws and vegetables were
excellent and great for buffet style. We also recognized that there was a lot
of unseen hard work! There were many great pieces to Margaret and Brian's
wedding and the food and working with you was definitely high up there. It was

Working with Brian and BigBite Catering was the easiest and most exciting part of our wedding planning. My girlfriend and I were familiar with the un-stuffy and creative flavors of Brian's work at Bite Cafe, and his great vegetarian options. Brian and his staff enthusiastically helped us craft the picnic-type menu we had asked for, with old school, irresistible favorites like deviled eggs with fresh herbs, and some unexpected and sophisticated flavor combinations, such as slow baked ham sandwiches with champagne poached leeks and sun-dried tomato paste. Not once did I worry that the food would be anything but impressive, delectable and elegant, and as a natural worrier, this is something close to a miracle. I credit Brian's attentiveness and enthusiasm and his staff's clear attention to detail. The day of the event my confidence was rewarded. Hi Brian, We thought the food was delicious! The seitan was a big hit (as one of the many vegetarians said, "This tastes so good and so much like meat, I feel guilty eating it..."), the relishes you provided added a nice punch, and the make-your-own taco bar with sides was a big hit.
